AI Governance in Higher Education

I' am the co-chair of the university-wide AI Governance Committee at the University of Massachusetts Boston where I lead a team of 10 faculty members, students and staff design and implement a comprehensive AI governance framework. Our framework consists of core ethical principles, AI data governance and AI education initiative.

I currently chair the AI Education Initiative on campus where we design and implement AI education programs and awareness campaigns for the faculty, students and staff to increase AI literacy and encourage intentional use of AI technologies on campus.
